Right where we are now..? “homeless”, & paying for the privilege… riding out this economic disaster… “created” by Allstate… “promoted”, &… prolonged by Clear Lake Shores… We’re caught in the “middle”… one… won’t let us restore… the other… won’t pay to rebuild… It’s a miracle we “survived”… to ride this storm @all… A more “timely” intervention… could have resolved these issues… months & months ago… Instead..? We’re hemorrhaging money… deeply in debt… with no “apparent” way out..? Right where they want us..? People keep counting us out, &… I keep reminding these “people”..? WE AREN’T DEAD YET !!! With all these “parties” attacking us from all sides… it becomes clearer & clearer to me… all the time… we’ve already won… These parties… “created” this fiasco…February 22, 2010 City Administrator Chief of Police… Paul Shelley City Building Official Jack Fryday… gave 1 day “verbal” notice to vacate premises… “told” we would be arrested… If we weren’t out by the 23rd..? After being contacted by state representative Larry Taylors Office… Chief Shelly… magnanimously agreed to extend his dead line till Friday February 26… Mean while..? We’ve never received “any” written notice..? Maybe he doesn’t know… doesn’t care, but… ignorance of the law..? Is “certainly” no excuse for a Chief of Police… could be cause for dismissal..? “worthless” unemployed, bum, hobo… this ain’t no “homeless” camp… words he used to degrade me & my brother… ”perhaps” he’d like to join us… in the ranks of the “unemployed”..? When cries of desperation fall on deaf ears it often exasperates… an already desperate situation… Is it any surprise desperate people do such desperate things… The only “people” surprised… are the ones who just don’t get it… ”such” as it “is”… this is our “home” @present, &… We have been given ample reason… to distrust all parties involved… In our absence..? Who will look after our right’s, & our best interests..? Allstate..? the “good” hands people..? Chief Shelley..? City of Clear Lake Shores..? Adversity..? The hand shapes the clay..?
